The backhoe is a hydro dynamically operated gear driven by hydraulic cylinder. The whole system consists of a complex single-pump & multi-loop system. Every working part is controlled by respective hydraulic circuits. Tractor PTO shaft drives gear pump of hydraulic system, selector valve controls oil cylinder, and oil cylinder drives every working part. Thus, digging, returning, loading and other operations can be finished.

 

Hydraulic lift mechanism should be disassembled firstly and then Model LW-6 backhoe can be installed. Connect hitch points of backhoe frame with relevant positions of tractor. See Fig(3).LW-6 3-point hanging backhoes can be connected in an easy and convenient way. You just need to connect the three hanging points of upper link and lower link of the 3-point hanging gear of tractor with the relevant points of 3-point hanging backhoes.

 

After LW-6 backhoe connected with tractor, the following points need attention before operation:

A.        Check tractor and make sure tractor in regular working situation.

B.        Fill lubricating oil in every oil site of backhoe.

C.        Fill hydraulic oil into four fifths of hydraulic oil tank.

D.        Draw out the safety pins on the movable arm and its seat before operating the backhoe.

 Operation of LW-6 series backhoes:

A.      Start tractor to make gear in the max. Working situation.

B.      Operate control handle of selector valve, imitate the working situation of project, and make each oil cylinder of working fitting operate repeatedly. Check every part to see if they work well and clean air in oil conduit completely.

C.      Only after the free operation is OK, can the digging operation be carried out.

 

1) Please read the manual carefully and understand it completely before using the machine. Using and maintaining it in correct ways can let it work well.

2) Overload working should be avoided.

3) Standard hydraulic oil is required. 20# and 32# machine oil are recommended and should get filtering, fuel feeder should keep clean.

4) Operators should be familiar with the working principle and structure of this machine and don't stop regular maintenances. Troubles found should be removed in time. Don't let machine work with troubles.

5) Only after support outrigger is dropped can the operation begin to avoid turnover.

6) During bucket dropping and digging, turning operation is not allowed to avoid destroying parts.

7) No person is allowed to present in operation range of backhoe to avoid wounds.

8) When moving the machine, make sure to lock well the safety pins of movable arm and its seat. To move the machine in a long distance, the rod and bucket should be retracted in a folded way, and movable arm & seat should be in limited position to avoid swing from left to right.

 

1. Check hydraulic oil cylinder frequently and hydraulic oil should be enough to guarantee correct working of backhoe.

2. Fill grease into grease cups of each working position until grease overflows.

3. Check and tighten every connecting bolt and nut frequently. Their loose will damage machine.

4. Wash and clean hydraulic-oil filter every month. Check to see if dross filter works well. Replace damaged ones immediately, or the hydraulic components will be damaged.

5. If oil leakage happens during using, the machine should be stopped. Replace the part if necessary.

6. After long-time use, if transformation presents, hydraulic oil should be replaced and oil tank needs cleaning.

 

1. There is oil leakage or oil impregnate in sleeves: it is due to the damaged O-ring in the sleeve or loose connection. Please change O-ring or tighten the joints.

2. Hydraulic-oil cylinder moves unexpectedly when it goes in and out during operation: one reason is that air stays in oil cylinder, push control handle repeatedly until the air is exhausted. If there is still some air, check every part in oil circuit system to find leakage site and let out air.

3. If the oil temperature is over high, please check hydraulic-oil filter or other oil circuits to find stuck site. Wash or change parts when necessary.

4. If hydraulic is found weak in pressure and slow in action, please check oil pump to see if it is damaged. If it is aginged, change the part. Check oil circuit to see if it has stuck site or leakage and deal with troubles.

5. The possible over-high noise of the hydraulic pipe is due to air bubble in hydraulic oil circuit. Check the oil circuit to find air-leakage site and to see if the hydraulic oil is too little.

6. If all actions of the whole backhoe, please check the selector valve to see whether it is stuck or whether the inner seal in pressure control valve of the selector valve is worn. Repair the valve or change it.

7. If it is one or two oil action of the backhoe that is weak, check and see whether seal of the action oil cylinder is worn, and whether the oil circuit is smooth. Repair or changed the disable oil cylinder.
